The Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum (HEF) is an annual international event organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee since 2018, aimed at building an open dialogue platform and fostering effective cooperation among leaders, experts, and businesses from Viet Nam and around the world. The forum seeks to gather practical ideas and initiatives that contribute to shaping sustainable socio-economic development policies not only for Ho Chi Minh City, but also for Viet Nam and the international community.

The Autumn Economic Forum 2025 (HEF 2025) will feature high-level plenary sessions with keynote speeches and expert-led panels, moving from strategic policy insights to actionable, sector-specific solutions. With the theme “Breakthroughs for Shared and Ho Chi Minh City Growth”, the Forum will explore innovations to address the city’s major challenges as it evolves into a megacity following its merger with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The city aspires to become a leading regional hub for science, technology, and innovation - driving a smart economy, sustaining double-digit growth, and building a fully digital society.
