To foster dialogue and collaboration between Ho Chi Minh City and international partners, experts, and stakeholders on economic and social issues, as well as emerging development trends. The Forum aims to identify solutions and shape growth strategies for Ho Chi Minh City and other major metropolitan areas worldwide.

To provide a platform for engagement and exchange between government leaders, city officials, and relevant stakeholders, with the goal of promoting cooperation potential, advancing economic development, and unlocking opportunities in tourism and investment for Ho Chi Minh City.

The Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum (HEF), organized annually by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee since 2018, serves as a premier international platform for dialogue. In 2025, the Forum is implemented in partnership with the Vietnam Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

This year, HEF aspires to expand its regional and global reach through close collaboration with the World Economic Forum (WEF). The event will feature the participation of senior domestic leaders from the Government, Ministries, and central agencies; regional Heads of Government; and is expected to welcome over 1,500 delegates.
