Mr. Chang Lih Kang is the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Malaysia, having assumed office in December 2022. He is also the Member of Parliament for Tanjong Malim. In his role leading MOSTI, he is responsible for planning and implementing Malaysia's national policies for scientific development, and the advancement of innovation and technology.

Mr. Chang Lih Kang will participate in two speaking activities at the Forum:

• November 25, 2025: Delivering remarks at the AI Generation NOW Panel Discussion (part of the INSPIRATIONAL TALKSHOW FOR YOUTH).

- Topic: "Perspectives on youth, and the experiences of Malaysia and Southeast Asia".

• November 26, 2025: Delivering remarks at the LUNCHEON SESSION WITH GOVERNMENT LEADERSHIP.

As Malaysia's Minister responsible for science, technology, and innovation, Mr. Chang Lih Kang focuses on enhancing R&D capabilities and promoting technology-based industries. His policies relate directly to the Forum's themes of the digital economy, sustainable development, and green transition, such as through the implementation of Malaysia's Hydrogen Economy and Technology Roadmap (HETR).

His remarks on the experiences of Malaysia and Southeast Asia are expected to provide insights into the region's approach to developing an "AI Generation" and building a smart economy, relevant to the Forum's overall context.
