Mr. Stephan Mergenthaler is the Managing Director, Chief Technology Officer, and a Member of the Executive Committee of the World Economic Forum (WEF). He oversees the Forum's technology and digital innovation strategy and manages its global portfolio of Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. He is a leading expert on technology governance, global trends, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

As WEF's Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Stephan Mergenthaler's expertise directly covers the core themes of the Autumn Economic Forum 2025.
