The conference respectfully welcomed Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha – Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and Head of the Forum’s Organizing Committee, together with representatives of departments, sectors, press agencies, and domestic and international enterprises.

At the press conference, Mr. Le Truong Duy – Director of HCMC C4IR and Standing Deputy Head of the Forum’s Organizing Committee, delivered a comprehensive report detailing the program’s agenda, key objectives, and the progress of preparations for the Forum.
Mr. Le Truong Duy emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City had never hosted an economic dialogue event of such scale. “This is an important opportunity to share visions, exchange solutions, and create new breakthroughs—not only for national development but also for Ho Chi Minh City as the country’s leading growth engine,” he said.
He also highlighted the essential role of the media: “The press not only contributes to the Forum’s success but also helps promote Vietnam’s image and reputation internationally.”
The Organizing Committee expressed its hope that the media would continue supporting the dissemination of the Forum’s core messages, values, and contributions to the city’s sustainable development and innovation agenda.

Key highlights of this year’s Forum were announced at the press conference, including its unprecedented international scale, with more than 1,500 delegates expected to attend. The event will feature the participation of leaders of the Vietnamese Government, foreign government leaders, ministries, sectors, and localities from both within and outside the country. Numerous international delegations will also be present, including those from Finland, China, Laos, Australia, as well as major organizations such as the IMF, ADB, and members of the global C4IR network.
For the first time, the 2025 Autumn Economic Forum will be organized in collaboration with the World Economic Forum (WEF). This year’s theme, “Green Transition in the Digital Era,” emphasizes the dual transformation agenda. The Forum aims to promote practical initiatives and direct cooperation across three key pillars: Smart manufacturing and global supply chains, smart services and logistics aligned with dual-transformation goals and Smart governance in the digital era.

Also within the event, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and Head of the Organizing Committee, delivered strategic remarks highlighting the Forum’s importance in enhancing competitiveness, promoting innovation, and fostering sustainable growth.
He affirmed that the Forum must serve as a platform that transforms ideas into actions, discussions into policies, and policies into real-world implementation. Ho Chi Minh City is committed to organizing the Forum with the highest standards in content, technical quality, and international hospitality. He also stressed that the media plays a crucial role in amplifying Vietnam’s new development vision—one that places technology, knowledge, and responsibility for the future at its core.
